In April 2019, Professor Jacek Sznurkowski founded a medical entity built on his personal vision of a healthcare facility led by top specialists practicing Evidence-Based Medicine—free from systemic limitations and conflicts of interest.
Drawing on knowledge and experience acquired both in Poland and at internationally renowned institutions—including the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota), MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, Texas), and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York)—this expertise is applied not only to patient care but also to clinic management and the careful selection of a highly qualified professional team at the Professor Sznurkowski Podmiot Leczniczy
A highly specialized outpatient clinic was established, focusing on obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic oncology, oncologic surgery, general surgery, urology, anesthesiology, clinical immunology, and pediatrics. Within the clinic, surgeons and anesthesiologists work collaboratively to qualify patients for surgical procedures—both minimally invasive and open—for the treatment of benign and malignant tumors.
Inspired by the model of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Professor Sznurkowski developed a One-Day Surgery Unit equipped with a modern, fully integrated operating room. Surgical procedures are conducted in a calm, home-like environment while adhering to the highest standards of patient safety.
Histopathological results are typically available within seven days, and molecular test results within four weeks.
